Burning Man 2007

The Green Man. Crazy year, lots of good times and stories but here’s the highlights; An arsonist set the man on fire early, I helped Alex (KidHack) and a number of other staff and volunteers secure the perimeter around the man base and keep the crowd out. Big Rig Jig, an amazing sculpture of 2 counter balanced oil trucks bent into an ’s’ shape that you could climb inside. Crude Awakening, a huge oil derrick which had the best fireworks I’ve ever seen, and the largest explosion (300 gallons of gasoline.) Alex and I did a set at Get Lost which was quite fun, my first time doing video on the playa. Dust storms, rainbows, parties, randomness, friends, food, dancing, lights, fire and PULPO! (the octopus)
